Based in Southern California, ROST ARCHITECTS is a licensed architectural and interior design firm dedicated to a philosophy of simplicity, clarity, and environmental sensitivity. We create architecture that is site specific and integrated into the local environmental and cultural conditions of the site . With each project we attempt to integrate technology on the forefront of sustainability while preserving a high level of design and attention to detail.

ABOUT US
MITCHELL ROCHELEAU | AIA
Mitchell is a licensed California Architect. He has worked at several of the top Architectural and development firms in Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Orange County including Emergent Architecture, Marmol Radziner + Associates, Horst Architects and Plus Development.
He graduated second in his class with Magna Cum Laude standing from Texas A&M University with his undergraduate degree in Architecture & Environmental Design. He was awarded a scholarship to UCLA where he graduated with his Masters Degree in Architecture.
His expertise is in luxury custom homes ranging in valuation from 1.5M -18M and up to 18,000 SQFT.
Mitchell has been a guest speaker for the UCLA Masters of Architecture program.
He has worked on projects in La Jolla, San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Trabuco Canyon, Tustin, Santa Barbara, Texas, Amsterdam, China, Taiwan, and Switzerland.
ALEX STENSBY
Alex is the principal of Interior Design at Rost Architects. She is a southern California native with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Environmental Design. Alex was trained in commercial architecture and design, but made the switch to residential to pursue her passion of high end contemporary design.
Alex has worked on projects in Newport Beach, Orange, Irvine, Santa Rosa, and Long Beach. Her approach to interior design is grounded in functionality and architectural principals.
