The case study house program was an experimental program set up by John Entenza through Arts and Architecture Magazine, that facilitated the design, construction and publishing of modern single-family homes. The goal was to highlight modern homes constructed with industrial materials and techniques that could help solve the housing needs after WWII.
Read MoreIn March 2022, Rost Architects started work on the restoration of a beautiful mid century rancho home in Orange County. The existing home sits on a large secluded lot at the base of a large hillside surrounded by dense vegetation and mature trees. The existing home was purchased by our clients and was in need of a full renovation which included architectural, landscape and interiors. Rost Architects provided the design for all three elements of the property. The clients on this project were a young family with four children.
