Story:

This entertainment pavilion was intended as a retreat for family and guests. Most of the walls are composed of sliding glass doors that pocket. When pocketed, the entire pavilion becomes open to the outdoors, making the boundary between interior and exterior virtually indistinguishable.  Large overhangs create outdoor shaded areas for guests to enjoy nature and the views.

The pavilion was set atop a large stone plinth with planter beds. The plinth elevated the structure to optimize views of the surrounding mountains and Yorba Linda below. The integrated planters softened the structure's presence with the landscape.

This entertainment pavilion accompanied the larger home on the property.
