Story:
The original home on the lot was burnt down in the Laguna Niguel fires of 2022. The lot is a beautiful hillside canyon lot with views of the ocean. Although the fires were unfortunate, it gave the owners a chance to rebuild their dream home.
We wanted to optimize the canyon and ocean views at the rear of the house. Expansive sliding glass doors and overhanging balconies offer large shaded outdoor spaces to enjoy the outdoor pool space and views. Rost designed this project's architecture, landscape, and interiors and did FF&E selection and installation.
Because of the previous fires, we used materials and techniques to increase the home's fire resistance for future protection. We worked closely with the owners on all aspects of the house's design. Over the course of the project, our team developed a great relationship with the clients, and we feel privileged to help bring this vision to life.
