Story:

This project was on an expansive hillside site in Laguna Beach, with 180-degree ocean views and views to the adjacent canyon. The goal was to preserve roughly half of the original house and design a modern addition with architectural updates and refinishing to the original section of the home.

A modern glass box with 11-foot-high ceilings faces the ocean view with pocket doors, allowing the home to fully open. A large double-story entry with skylights above creates a dynamic and expansive entry experience.

A comfortable second-level primary suite was designed to allow for privacy and optimal ocean views. We designed the architecture, interiors, and landscape for this project.
